It Takes Only One Trojan Cow

This is an actual letter written to a Trojan Cow at Overstock.com regarding a business account. It's also a prime example of what Trojan Cow can be cabable of in a Corporate Machine.

Trojan Cows that Handle Your Money And Runs Your Life

Dear Trojan Cow,

Fact: The customers have let me and my company down, and gave you, who had an ax to grind and abiding her time to exercise that little power she's given, the opportunity to disable the account; to state your rank and boast your position of which I could care less...

Fact: To me, you're an employee of Overstock.com; be it a floor manager, supervisor or whatever position you're put to manage, still does not change the fact of you being an employee, and, as in every company, there is always someone who is higher in the chain of management. An employee’s rank and position are chains of gold, but still chains belong to the employer.

If I decide to have my account re-instated, unlike before, I'll be talking to your supervisor's supervisor...However, I would do this if I'd think it's worth my time.

Now, everything is fine the way it is...

Fact: I'm releasing you from your obligations to handle my-no-longer active account.

Your queries about any transaction, now or in the future, will be ignored. You will not receive any answers.

Customers who have claims regarding Techmaven's wrong-doing can seek help via their credit card company and all other authorities that have the power to handle such matters. You don't. I, on the other hand, have authorization, power and the confidence to use against private and government institutions .

You don't. And, you cannot help them. You have already exercised that little power you have by disabling Techmaven’s account…which is all you can do.

To me, you're a failed supervisor.

Let me explain.

Conundrum: I'd like to remind you the fraudulent incidents I have prevented couple of years ago on Overstock that saved hundreds of buyers from losing money to swindler sellers whom knowingly you allowed to operate and got away with approximately $50K. Remember the Tulsa Incident? I should've received a year of free listing for that action. And last year, when I have exposed and stopped (by placing a $1000 bid on each of his auctions so that nobody would place bids) swindler ewokviki whose name could've become synonymous with “swindle" and “Ponzi scheme" (for more information about Ponzi Scheme" visit https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/), you have curiously disabled my account for 3 months (a blow Techmaven has never really recovered), knowing I was right, but your ego blinded you, defending Ponzi until you had no choice but put an end to the obvious...I was right and you were wrong. Despite the fact, though, you have refused to remove the bad ratings that were left by Ponzi...a curious incident that still needs some shedding lights and questions deserve answers. Who was seller ewokviki? Why did you protect ewokviki? Threatening me no to post anything regarding this incident on auction forums or to contact this seller in any way. This Ponzi also got away with at least $30K…Had he not been stopped, the numbers would’ve tripled.

ewokvicki (Disabled) for fraudulent activities.

Fact: They are all Techmaven's customers whom you don't care about but the Listing Fees. They are my customers. You're only the host. These customers visit Overstock.com, register and bid/buy because of Techmaven. Overstock.com cannot offer them what Techmaven is offering.

Compelling Motive: could that be the reason why you always have treated Techmaven as the Stepson of Overstock? Competition to Overstock? Pressure from Best Buy?

Fact: power does not corrupt men; fools, however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power.

Fact: Overstock.com is useless without Techmaven when it comes to computers & Networking and Consumer Electronics. Overstock, like San Francisco, has two bridges: Golden Gate (Best Buy) and Bay Bridge (Techmaven). You have just burned Bay bridge! Leaving the Bay Area with no alternative pass except via Golden Gate (Best Buy, which only sells used items with missing parts and God knows what else).

Have a nice day
