...feeding by thousands in the low-lying meadows by some wide-watered shore - the herdsman is asleep, oblivious of the change around him; of the Seasons' natural turn. Didn't mind much about the turn of the milleniums let alone a new year. As when two wild beasts sprung in the dead of night on his herd, the only teeming thoughts in his mind were, "Soon as I get home..." Nothing, however, of an extraordinary thing but the usual awaited him at home; the warm and cozy little thatched-roof cottage and the dying embers in the fire place. No matter. He'd fix that. A bunch of faggot or a few woodchips would set ablaze and warm his cold bones, sending a tickling, pleasant sensation down his spine as he munched on slice bread topped with olives and goat cheese, washing each morsel with a home made wine called it 'Homey Sip'...He'd welcome the 2100 year or the...years didn't matter so long as you were healthy or dead. Well, he was a herdsman but a smart and way of his time one, that he was sure of. He raised the bottle of the Homey Sip in the air and said, "To the years I remain alive and able! Cheers y'all Years!"
