I have coined the “California Cow” term in reference to an actual female employee in any kind of business in California, (see my previous blogs such the ‘It takes Only One Trojan Cow and Trojan Cows that Handle Your Money And Runs Your Life’, having not a clue how important Cali-Cow was Nationwide.
As my usual get-away-from the city drive to the countryside, I took an image of a Red Farm, surrounded with plenty grass and spring vegetation. After hours of processing the image in HDR (high dynamic range) I was satisfied with the result, however, as all real perfectionist artist in photography, I have cropped the image a little to get rid of the empty and vast grass, allowing the viewer’s eye to lead to the red farm, the center object, the theme, the story, The Little Red Riding Hood Red farm, or whatever you can call it.
Unaware of the ‘ Attack of Cali-Cows’, I have submitted the image to a stock photo agency, bigstockphoto.com, and forgot about; that is, until I received an email that image was not rejected for the following reasons:
A herd of hundreds Cali-Cows have filed a complaint with every authority in California State, venting, “Hey, what happened to the rest of the grass? Think it’s easy for us grazing every single blade of grass we could find to produce MILK? We want the cropped grass back ASAP. Otherwise, we’re going on strike! You’re not only be DEPRIVED of milk, the commercial on TV “Got Milk” will join the banned classic ‘Aaron Burr Milk Commercial’. OK. Simply put: Never Got Milk. That’s your impending ominous future.
I have also come across the following:
There are cows right in Columbus but they are part of the Ohio State University, in fact I sold a house near one of the OSU herds to a couple from California... people not cows. He was originally from Ohio, not Columbus but she is from L.A originally."
Yes we do have cow herds in Columbus because of OSU Ag School. There is a dairy cow herd and a beef cow herd in northwest Columbus.
I should not like the California Happy Cows
Here's a little example of stereotyping of Midwestern cows, notice the snow.... here's a Midwestern cow relocating to California. Hope "Sadie" checked out prices and conditions before she set out on the journey
Wow! That's a lesson!
